Swsthya is a Sanskrit word that means self-sufficiency, health, well-being, comfort and satisfaction. Swasthya Yoga brings back the ancient form of yoga from the pre-classical period, systemised by Master DeRose. It is characterised by a traditional 8 part practice (ashtnga sdhana): hand gestures (mudra), devotion (puja), sound vibrations (mantra), breathing techniques (pranayama), cleansing and purification techniques (kriya), postures (asana), deep relaxation (yoganidra), focused meditation (samyama). In each class, you’ll experience new sequences that are easy to follow. There are no set levels because every student is at their own unique stage. The instructor provides different options, and you choose the one that feels right for you.
